My sister Judy who lives in Guilford, Ct. had on her "Bucket List" walking across the Brooklyn Bridge in N. Y. This summer she took the train & subway to lower Manhattan and walked across the bridge from Manhattan to Brooklyn and back.

This past Sunday my grandson and I went downtown Jacksonville to tour a US Naval ship that was moored next to the Main St. Bridge. After the tour I told him about his Aunt Judy's adventure this summer. He said "lets walk across that bridge and maybe someday we can cross the Brooklyn Bridge'. So we did walk the 1,680 ft. bridge. The Brooklyn Bridge is 1,825 ft. long.
