"Long Lost Shipmate"

Found a Shipmate whom I served with in the radio
gang.  His name is John Luliak a RM2 like myself.  I
stopped by to see him this weekend in Sebastian, Fl.

Jim Druckemiller was on board during Project Shad and posted an article on the Power Board. Jim has been doing great work along with other members of the USS Power on this subject. I think the USS Power members are in the front lines on keeping what happened during Project Shad from being lost forever. Good Job to all.

Photo of the USS Power DD-839 was sent in by Jeff Pick. Jeff's father was a Plank Owner. The photo is believed to have been taken in the Med. Sea (1946) when the ship escorted the USS Missouri who was returning the Turkish Ambassador's body to TurkeWWII. Click on photo to enlarge.
