34. Dwight D. Eisenhower - January 20, 1953   He was a five-star general in the United States Army.  During the Second World War, he served as Supreme Commander of the Allied forces in Europe, with responsibility for planning and supervising the successful invasion of France and Germany in 1944–45. In 1951, he became the first supreme commander of NATO.

35. John F. Kennedy - January 20, 1961:  Assassinated Friday, November 22, 1963, in Dallas, Texas

36. Lyndon B. Johnson - November 22, 1963  (Viet Nam War)  The Vietnam War, also known as the Second Indochina War, was a Cold War military conflict that occurred in Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia from September 26, 1959 to April 30, 1975. This war followed the First Indochina War and was fought between the communist North Vietnam, supported by its communist allies, and the government of South Vietnam, supported by the United States and other anti-communist nations.

37. Richard M. Nixon - January 20, 1969  (Viet Nam War) Nixon was the only President to resign the office and also the only person to be elected twice to both the Presidency and the Vice Presidency.   He successfully negotiated a ceasefire with North Vietnam in 1973, effectively ending American involvement in the war.
