Hoover Dam by Helicopter

 In just five years, from April 20, 1931 to March 1, 1936, the Hoover Dam, power plant, and appurtenant were completed.  On May 29, 1935, the concrete placement of the dam was in place allowing total construction to be completed two years earlier than expected.
